Cameroonian right-back Enzo Tchato leaves Montpellier for Serie A
Enzo Tchato will continue his development in Italy. With one year remaining on his contract at Montpellier, the Cameroonian international has signed for Frosinone Calcio, newly promoted to the Italian top flight.
He has signed a four-season contract with the Italian club. The Cameroonian is therefore under contract with Frosinone Calcio until 30 June 2030. Enzo Tchato’s transfer fee is estimated to be less than €1 million.
The 23-year-old defender will thus be experiencing a new league for the first time since turning professional. Having come through the ranks at Montpellier, he had only played for the French club until now.
Enzo Tchato had gradually established himself at Montpellier following a mixed start to his career. The Cameroonian had become a key player at the French club since January 2026. Having progressed through all the youth ranks at Montpellier, he is now turning a significant page in his career after 17 years.
The Cameroonian international will find himself in a new environment at Frosinone Calcio, where he will aim to make his mark in Serie A.
