Cameroonian midfielder Jacques Mbe returns to the Tunisian Ligue 1
CS Sfaxien have officially announced the signing of the 27-year-old, who joined on a free transfer following the end of his spell with Flamurtari FC in the Albanian top flight.
Now a free agent, Jacques Mbe has chosen to return to Africa to continue his career. The Cameroonian midfielder has signed a three-season contract with CS Sfaxien in Tunisia. He will therefore represent the club in the Tunisian Ligue 1 until 2029.
The former Canon Yaoundé player is thus embarking on a new chapter in his career in a league he is familiar with. Jacques Mbe had previously played in the Tunisian Ligue 1 for ES Sahel.
The Cameroonian played during the 2021–2022 and 2023–2024 seasons, gaining valuable experience of Tunisian football. Jacques Mbe also has experience of the Algerian league, having played for CR Belouizdad in the Algerian Ligue 1.
With his return to Tunisia, Jacques Mbe is back in a league he knows well and will take on a new challenge with CS Sfaxien, aiming to make his mark at the Tunisian club.
