Cameroonian Ballon d'Or: Serge Daura and Tiwa Lys Fraîche crowned
The Gazelle FA striker won the men's category, while the Lekie FF player won the women's category.
The Cameroonian Ballon d'Or announced its verdict on 27 February in Yaoundé. The prestigious award, which recognises the best players in local football, went to two strikers from the Cameroonian men's and women's leagues.
Serge Daura, who had a great 2024-25 season with Gazelle FA, was crowned Cameroon's best player of the year. The striker was also named revelation of the season and top scorer in Elite One 2024-25.
In the women's competition, Tiwa Lys Fraîche won two trophies. Crowned Cameroon's Ballon d'Or, she also received the award for top scorer in last season's women's first division.
The award for best coach in Elite One went to Richard Towa, coach of Colombe Sportive du Sud. The Cameroonian tactician won the championship last season with his club.
