Cameroonian Ballon d'Or: here's what the winners of the 2026 edition will win

The Cameroonian Football Federation has given an idea of the prizes, a few days before the ceremony, scheduled for 27 February.

The winners of the various categories of the Cameroonian Ballon d'Or will be handsomely rewarded this year. With the ceremony for Cameroon's most prestigious football award taking place next Friday, the organisers have lifted the veil on the prizes.

According to the communications director of the Cameroonian Football Federation, Jean-Marie Nkoussa, the winners will walk away with some impressive prizes.

"The Ballon d'Or winner will receive a vehicle. Plots of land are also being made available for the men's and women's Ballon d'Or winners. There are very significant financial rewards, which will be unveiled by the respective sponsors, the main sponsors of the two competitions: MTN Elite One and Guinness Super League. In addition, there will be some wonderful surprises, and I can assure you that on that evening, the audience will witness some big revelations," he said.

The Cameroonian Ballon d'Or rewards local footballers who have distinguished themselves through their performances during the season.
