Cameroon Star Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu Caught in Cheating Scandal Ahead of World Cup Playoffs

Russia-based Cameroon international Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu has reportedly been involved in a cheating scandal just days before the World Cup playoffs.

The incident reportedly took place at the Moscow apartment that the 31-year-old forward shares with his partner, Russian influencer Nikki Seey. According to reports, Moumi was caught red-handed with another woman, and the confrontation was captured in a video that has since gone viral on X (formerly Twitter).

According to reports, Seey, who recently turned 25, arrived at the apartment with a friend after learning that Moumi had brought another woman home. When she attempted to confront him, Moumi reportedly tried to prevent them from entering, claiming that his “uncle” was inside. Skeptical of his explanation, Seey contacted the police, who later forced their way into the apartment.

Inside, authorities reportedly found another woman trying to cover her face, visibly embarrassed by the incident. Video footage also shows Moumi wearing only his Cameroon shorts during the confrontation.

The scandal has raised questions about Moumi’s focus and availability ahead of Cameroon’s crucial CAF World Cup Qualifier play-off against DR Congo on November 13. It remains unclear whether the personal controversy will affect his participation in the match.
