The young Cameroonians bounced back strongly after their slip-up against Ivory Coast in their opening group stage match.
Cameroon’s U17 team continues its campaign in Morocco. After starting the tournament with a defeat, the Young Lions have bounced back with two consecutive victories.
They had beaten Uganda in their second match before defeating the Democratic Republic of Congo 1-0 on Tuesday 19 May. Thanks to this victory, Cameroon finished second in Group B behind Ivory Coast and qualified for the quarter-finals of the competition.
Just like the young Ivorians, Cameroon’s U17s have also secured their place at the U17 World Cup.
