Cameroon: Colombe Sportive du Sud, reigning Elite One champions, prepare to defend their title

Colombe Sportive du Sud are in pre-season training for the 2025-26 campaign. The reigning Cameroonian league champions are fine-tuning their strategy with a series of friendly matches.

Colombe Sportive du Sud was crowned Elite One champion last season for the first time in its history. And it has no intention of relinquishing the crown for the upcoming season. With the season set to kick off on 24 January 2026, Cameroon's champion club is in full swing.

Richard Towa's team played two friendly matches this week, both of which ended in victories. The first friendly was against Yafoot (2-0) last Tuesday and the second was against Oyili FC Inter (2-1) on 16 January.

It should be noted that Colombe Sportive du Sud will kick off its 2025-26 campaign against Coton Sport de Garoua on 25 January 2026.
