Cameroon beat China in the FIFA Series

The Indomitable Lions ended their international friendly tournament in Australia on a high note.

The Cameroonian side secured a prestigious victory following their defeat to Australia in their previous match. David Pagou’s team completely dominated their Chinese opponents on Tuesday 31 March 2026. The Indomitable Lions sealed their victory in the first half.

Karl Etta Eyong opened the scoring in the 3rd minute following an assist from Nagida Aboubakar. Saidou Alioum Moubarak doubled the lead six minutes later. He found the back of the net in the 9th minute thanks to a pass from Konrad Nifanso Sinyam. Despite attempts from both sides, neither team scored again until the final whistle.

However, the match was marred by the sending-off of manager David Pagou and defender Stephane Keller. The Indomitable Lions’ manager was shown a red card for dissent, whilst the defender received a second yellow card following a foul.
