Real Madrid resumed training in Palm Beach, just two days after a disappointing 1-1 draw against Al Hilal in their Club World Cup opener. As EFE reported, Eduardo Camavinga participated partially in group training, while Kylian Mbappé—hospitalized for acute gastroenteritis—was discharged but did not take part in the session.

With no room for error, Xabi Alonso ramped up tactical preparations ahead of Sunday’s crucial match against Mexico’s Pachuca in Charlotte. Kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m. local time at the Bank of America Stadium. Both teams are under pressure, with Pachuca also losing their opener, a 1-0 defeat to Austria’s Red Bull Salzburg.

The session, held at Gardens North County District training grounds, was split into two groups: starters from the previous match trained indoors, while the rest of the squad engaged in on-field drills focused on ball work, possession, and finishing.

Alonso, still shaping his version of Madrid, is keen to recalibrate his side’s attacking rhythm and defensive cohesion. Camavinga’s return could offer a timely midfield boost, though Mbappé’s full availability remains uncertain just days before a match that could define their Club World Cup hopes.
