Calvert-Lewin surpasses even Kane with goals in six straight Premier League matches
Leeds and Sunderland squared off in the 18th round of the English Premier League.
The clash at the Stadium of Light ended with no winner: after Adingra’s opener, Leeds responded with a precise strike from Calvert-Lewin. Remarkably, the 28-year-old forward has now scored in six consecutive Premier League fixtures.
This streak marks a career-best for Dominic. What’s even more impressive, not even Harry Kane has managed such a feat—Bayern’s current talisman twice netted in five consecutive Premier League games, but never six.
It’s also worth highlighting that the former Everton striker has become the first player in Leeds’ history to achieve such a milestone.
To add to that, this goal was Calvert-Lewin’s eighth of the current campaign—his best tally in the past five years.
