Former Turkey referee Ahmet Çakar has praised Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, describing him as a model professional whose commitment stands out in Turkish football. Speaking on the Libero TV YouTube channel, Çakar said he only watches the forward in matches, yet believes his “professional dedication and professional ethics are perhaps number one at Galatasaray…”

He highlighted Osimhen’s demanding attitude, noting that “he doesn't accept things passively, he shouts at his teammates… he doesn't slack off,” while also praising his discipline off the pitch.

Çakar added that the Nigerian never cuts corners, saying he “returns to Türkiye when his job is done… he doesn't miss his flight.” He stressed that even without goals, “I take my hat off to the fight he shows.”

However, he warned that Osimhen’s temper can be risky if pushed too far. The striker recently scored on his Süper Lig return, taking his tally to thirteen goals.
