The Women’s Africa Cup of Nations is just around the corner, and the tournament organizers have now unveiled the official trophy.

Details: On its official X (formerly Twitter) account, CAF Women’s Football shared photos and videos of the trophy that 12 national teams will compete for.

The Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will kick off on Saturday, July 5, with the opening match between Morocco and Zambia, scheduled for 22:00 CET.

This marks the second consecutive time Morocco is hosting the tournament, having also staged the previous edition two years ago. The current titleholders are South Africa.

Reminder: The South African Football Association (SAFA) has officially responded to the recent boycott by the players of the South African women's national team, Banyana Banyana, over delayed payments.
