CAF to review the “FIFA Forward Enterprise” project

The governing body of African football has announced that it has received an official letter from FIFA regarding this initiative, which is currently undergoing a consultation process with member associations.

In an official statement, CAF announced that its president, Patrice Motsepe, will convene the organisation’s Executive Committee next week. A key aim of this meeting will be to examine and assess the “FIFA Forward Enterprise” proposal, in order to gauge its implications and opportunities for African football.

“As part of this consultation process, the CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe, will convene a meeting of the CAF Executive Committee next week to, amongst other things, examine and evaluate the proposed ‘FIFA Forward Enterprise’ initiative.”

CAF has also invited all its member associations to study this initiative carefully and to play an active part in the consultation process. The governing body reiterates that this process is being conducted in accordance with CAF and FIFA regulations and the procedures established by both organisations.
