CAF referees to attend training course in Cairo, Egypt
This training course is part of the knockout stages of the Champions League and Confederation Cup.
The Confederation of African Football wants to equip its referees for the decisive stages of its interclub competitions. The quarter-finals of both competitions will begin on 14 and 15 March 2026, respectively.
But before that, the referees will be strengthening their skills. That is why this training course has been initiated by the governing body of African football. The course will take place from 4 to 8 March 2026 in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. It will bring together the elite referees of the Confederation of African Football.
The quarter-finals of the 2025-26 CAF Champions League will be played from 14 to 21 March 2026, while those of the Confederation Cup will be played from 15 to 22 March.
