CAF Officially Updates AFCON 2025 Records with Morocco Confirmed as Champions

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially updated its records to confirm Morocco as the champions of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The update, made on Monday, now lists Morocco as winners of the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON Morocco 2025, with Senegal recorded as runners-up and Nigeria finishing in third place.

This development follows a decision by CAF’s Appeals Board on March 18, which overturned the original on-field result of the final played on January 18 in Rabat.
