CAF increases financial rewards for Champions League and Confederation Cup
The winners of the 2025-2026 editions of the two interclub competitions will pocket the substantial prizes.
The Confederation of African Football is committed to enhancing its interclub competitions. With the group stage of the Champions League and Confederation Cup now over, the governing body of African football has made a major announcement ahead of the quarter-finals, which are scheduled to kick off on 14 and 15 March.
The winner of the 2025-26 Champions League will receive a prize fund of $6 million. The runner-up will receive $2 million, the semi-finalists $1.2 million, and the quarter-finalists $900,000. The teams finishing 3rd and 4th in the group stage will each receive $700,000.
The winner of the 2025-26 Confederation Cup will receive $4 million, while the runner-up will receive $1 million. The semi-finalists will receive $750,000, the quarter-finalists $550,000, and the third and fourth-placed teams in the group stage $400,000.
