CAF Confirms South Africa vs Guinea Venue and Officials for 2027 AFCON Qualifier
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially confirmed the venue and match details for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture between South Africa and Guinea.
The match will be played at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg, South Africa, on September 26, 2026.
According to an official communication from CAF to the Guinean Football Federation, kick-off is scheduled for 6:00 PM local time (4:00 PM GMT).
CAF has also announced the match officials for the first-round qualifier, with Niger referee Sadou Ali Brahamou appointed to take charge of the encounter. He will be assisted by his compatriot Abdoul Aziz Yacouba and Theophilus Aberenga Akugre from Ghana. The fourth official will also be Ghanaian, Julian Nii Akwa Nunoo.
