CAF Confederation Cup 2025-26: these clubs are already eliminated before the last two rounds of the group stage
The fourth round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage was played this weekend.
At the end of this round, some clubs already knew their fate in the competition. They are officially eliminated with two rounds remaining in the group stage.
Djoliba, Nairobi United and ZESCO United are the clubs that already know they have no future in the competition this season. In Group A, Djoliba is bottom with one point after four games played. The Malian club is behind USM Alger with 10 points, OC Safi with nine points and FC San Pedro with three points.
Nairobi United, in Group B, has yet to earn any points. The Kenyan team faces Wydad AC with 9 points, Maniema Union with 9 points and Azam FC with 6 points.
For its part, ZESCO United, in Group D, has also yet to earn a single point. The Zambians are behind Zamalek with 8 points, Al-Masry with 7 points and Kaizer Chiefs with 7 points.
There is no longer any chance for these three teams to qualify for the next round of the 2025-26 CAF Confederation Cup.
