CAF Champions League: ES Tunis, Horoya AC and three other clubs join the teams already through to the group stage

The list of teams qualified for the group stage of the 2026–2027 CAF Champions League continues to take shape.

Following the second preliminary round matches on Saturday 24 October, five more clubs have secured their places. Joining Young Africans, Petro de Luanda, Wiliete SC, Orlando Pirates and MC Alger, five further teams have qualified.

These are Espérance Sportive de Tunis, Horoya AC, Pyramids FC, Zamalek SC and Renaissance Sportive de Berkane. ES Tunis secured their place by eliminating Swehly SC. Meanwhile, Horoya AC got the better of Al Merreikh SC to continue their continental campaign.

Pyramids FC also secured their qualification against El Merriekh SC Bentiu, whilst Zamalek SC prevailed against APR FC. RS Berkane knocked out Star Sport Academy to join the qualified teams.
