CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup: here are the prize money payments to be received by clubs eliminated before the group stage

The Confederation of African Football awards a substantial financial compensation to clubs that are eliminated from its inter-club competitions as early as the preliminary rounds.

Clubs eliminated from the CAF Champions League or the Confederation Cup at this stage will receive a grant of $100,000. This measure provides significant support for clubs participating in the two continental competitions. For many teams across the continent, this sum will help cover part of the costs associated with their campaign, including travel, logistics and other various expenses.

This compensation also represents a significant development in the policy of the Confederation of African Football. Just a few years ago, clubs eliminated in the early rounds of inter-club competitions received no financial compensation.

Under this new provision, teams that fail to reach the group stage of the two CAF inter-club competitions will be eligible for financial support despite their elimination. For clubs with limited resources, this $100,000 grant could provide valuable assistance.
