Lagos is set to welcome some of Africa’s biggest football stars later this year after CAF confirmed the Nigerian city as the host of the 2026 CAF Awards.
The ceremony is scheduled for December 7 and will be held at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts in Iganmu, the venue formerly known as the National Theatre.
It will be the fourth occasion that Lagos has staged the prestigious CAF Awards. The city previously hosted the ceremony in 2008, 2013 and 2014.
