CAF Awards 2025: Nigeria’s Super Falcons Crowned CAF Women’s National Team of the Year for 2025

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been named CAF Women’s National Team of the Year for the third consecutive year, winning the prestigious award in 2023, 2024, and now 2025.

The 10-time African champions earned the continental honor following their stellar performance at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), where they lifted the trophy in Morocco.

The Falcons secured the award ahead of strong contenders, including Ghana’s Black Queens and Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses, further cementing their status as Africa’s most successful women’s national team.
