Burkina Faso’s women’s team will face Mali in a friendly match
This is part of both teams’ preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Etalons and the Eagles ladies want to prepare properly for the Africa Cup of Nations, due to take place this summer in Morocco. The two teams will face each other during the upcoming international break.
Burkina Faso will host Mali for a double-header. The two matches will be played at the Stade du 4 Août on 4 and 7 June. This will allow both teams to further refine their strategy and keep the players in shape at the end of the season, a month and a half before the kick-off of the African Women’s Nations Cup.
The women’s teams from Mali and Burkina Faso have both qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place from 25 July to 16 August 2026 in Morocco.
