The Burkina Faso women's team is preparing for the final phase of the Women's African Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place in Morocco from March 17 to April 3, 2026. Like the other qualified teams, the Burkinabe team wants to sharpen its weapons before the start of the tournament.

Gathered in Ouagadougou, coach Pascal Sawadogo's players had an intensive training session on Thursday, February 19, at the Stade du 4-Août. The Burkina Faso women's team, which is returning to the African Cup of Nations four years after its historic first appearance, has been placed in Group B. In this group, it will face Ivory Coast, Tanzania, and South Africa.
