Bryan Mbeumo Picks Joshua Zirkzee as Manchester United’s Most Underrated Player
Bryan Mbeumo has singled out teammate Joshua Zirkzee as the most underrated player in the squad at Manchester United following an encouraging first season at Old Trafford.
The Cameroonian forward, who arrived from Brentford in a £71 million move last summer, has featured regularly this campaign, making 32 appearances and scoring 10 goals in all competitions ahead of the final Premier League fixture against Brighton.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Mbeumo was asked about the most underrated player in training and pointed to Zirkzee.
Mbeumo said: “Josh Zirkzee. Why? Because of how they can link with players. He is such a strong guy.
"It was really hard to take him into the ball when covering it. And obviously good finishing, like power shots.
"And they were really good with his feet. So I was very impressed. He’s a nice guy as well, funny guy.
