Bruno Fernandes trolls City fans after United’s stunning derby win
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes made sure to remind Manchester City fans who runs the city after their recent clash, reports Daily Mail.
The Portuguese midfielder heard City fans chanting “four-in-a-row,” referring to their Premier League title streak. In response, Fernandes cheekily displayed the scoreline – 1-2 in United’s favor – by signaling the numbers with his fingers, shrugging and smirking in mock defiance.
The Manchester derby, as usual, was an emotional affair, with United players celebrating the hard-fought victory with great enthusiasm. Joshua Zirkzee provocatively celebrated in front of the City fans, while Amad Diallo, Rasmus Højlund, and André Onana joined in with victory dances in the dressing room.
Fernandes, who scored from the penalty spot in the match, has had an impressive season so far, playing 24 matches and contributing 6 goals and 10 assists across all competitions.
United currently sit 13th in the Premier League table, but their gap to City, who are in 5th, is just five points.
