Bruno Fernandes achieved an interesting record

In the 28th round of the English Premier League, Manchester United secured a convincing victory over Everton, thanks to two penalties converted in the first half.

One of these penalties was successfully taken by Manchester United's attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes in the 12th minute of the match, marking his 29th penalty goal for the club.

According to Bleacher Report, the 29-year-old Portuguese has become the most prolific penalty taker in Manchester United's history, scoring the highest number of goals from the penalty spot among all players in the club's history.

The Premier League's official Twitter account also reported that since Fernandes's debut in February 2020, no other player has scored more penalties in the English Premier League than Bruno Fernandes (17).
