The June international window is set to become a testing ground for the South African national team, as "Bafana Bafana" will only play friendly matches during this period. Head coach Hugo Broos has now finalized the roster for these games.
Details: Broos has trimmed the previously announced preliminary squad of 41 players down to 23. Notably, first-choice goalkeeper Ronwen Williams is absent, as he will be preparing for the FIFA Club World Cup with Mamelodi Sundowns. However, Orlando Pirates star Relebohile Mofokeng has once again made the cut.
- Goalkeepers: Renaldo Leaner, Ricardo Goss, Sipho Chaine
- Defenders: Sydney Mobbie, Samukelo Kabini, Thabo Molloisane, Nkosinathi Sibisi, Khuluma Ndamane, Mbekezeli Mbokazi, Dino van Rooyen, Fawaaz Basadien
- Midfielders: Luke le Roux, Thalente Mbatha, Ndamlulelo Maphangule, Simphiwe Selepe
- Forwards: Oswin Appollis, Patrick Maswanganyi, Ashley Cupido, Relebohile Mofokeng, Tshepang Moremi, Yanela Mbuthuma, Mohau Nkota, Sinoxolo Kwayiba
Reminder: In June, South Africa will play two friendlies—against Tanzania on June 6 and Mozambique on June 10. Both matches will be held on home soil for Bafana Bafana.
