Britain's hope. Raducanu unexpectedly defeated the ninth seed in the third round of Wimbledon

British tennis player Emma Raducanu delighted the audience in London with an unexpected victory in the third round of the Wimbledon tournament.

Raducanu, who right now is ranked 135th in the WTA rankings, met Maria Sakkari, who is in the top 10 tennis players of the planet right now. However, the status of her opponent did not prevent Emma from winning in two sets.

The match lasted 92 minutes. During this time, the Brit made four breaks and never gave her opponent her serve. The final score was 6:2, 6:3 in favor of the British woman.

In the next round of the tournament Radukanu will play against Australian Lulu Radovic, who made it to the current Wimbledon through qualifying.
