Jaouen Hadjam is set to leave BSC Young Boys in Switzerland to join the Premier League. Brighton and BSC Young Boys are reported to have reached an agreement worth an estimated €12 million for the transfer of the 23-year-old Algerian left-back.

The Swiss club is also expected to receive bonuses linked to Jaouen Hadjam’s transfer. With two years remaining on his contract at BSC Young Boys, the Algerian international is set to make his Premier League debut shortly.

Jaouen Hadjam is expected to sign a five-year contract with Brighton, running until June 2031. The Algerian defender is expected to travel to England to finalise the formalities before his transfer is made official.

Having played in the French league and the Swiss Super League, Jaouen Hadjam is now set to begin a new chapter in his career in the Premier League. With BSC Young Boys, the 23-year-old Algerian defender has scored six goals in the Swiss league since his arrival in 2024.
