Brighton set to snatch player Chelsea and Atalanta interested in
The start of the season is no reason to curtail the transfer campaign, and clubs intend to work on this plan until the end of the window.
According to Sky Sports, Brighton have sent a formal offer for midfielder Matt O`Riley to Scottish Celtic. Nothing has been agreed yet, but the clubs are negotiating, which will continue in the next few days.
Recall that for a long time 23-year-old Danish attracts the attention of prominent clubs. Thus, O`Riley was previously interested in Atalanta, but it remains to be seen whether they will return to the Celtic player after signing Lazar Samardzic at the weekend.
However, Brighton appear to be ahead of other clubs, including Chelsea, in the race for the 23-year-old midfielder. It will be recalled that O`Riley was previously interpreted as a replacement for Conor Gallagher in Enzo Maresca's squad.
