Brighton instead of Man City. Boca Juniors star goes to England

The 19-year-old wonderkid from Boca Juniors, Valentin Barco, has made a decision regarding his new club.

In the coming days, the young left-back will join Brighton, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, adding the legendary phrase "Here we go."

Brighton will pay €10 million for Barco, which is specified in his contract as a release clause. The teenager will sign a contract until the summer of 2029.

Manchester City was also interested in Barco, planning to loan him to Leicester until the end of the season. However, the player preferred to move to Brighton.

He is considered one of the biggest talents in Argentine football. Barco scored 1 goal and provided 4 assists in 35 matches for his hometown club in the recently concluded season.
