The Algerian international is embarking on a new chapter in his professional career. Jaouen Hadjam has officially left BSC Young Boys of the Swiss Super League to join Brighton in England.

The Premier League club has confirmed the arrival of the 23-year-old defender via a statement. Jaouen Hadjam has signed a five-season contract with the Seagulls, running until 2031. The transfer fee for the Algerian international defender is estimated at €13 million.

Jaouen Hadjam arrives at Brighton having made remarkable progress since his professional debut. The 23-year-old full-back made his debut for Paris FC in Ligue 2 in 2020 before joining FC Nantes in Ligue 1 in 2023 and then moving to the Swiss Super League in 2024 to play for BSC Young Boys.

His move to the Premier League marks another major step forward in his career. Jaouen Hadjam will be able to bring his pace and technical ability to the Seagulls.
