Brighton Close to Signing Nigerian International Femi Azeez from Millwall
Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly close to completing a deal to sign Nigerian international Femi Azeez from Millwall.
According to transfer journalist Ben Jacobs, Brighton have already seen two bids worth £10 million and £12 million rejected by Millwall, but talks between the two clubs are now progressing.
“Brighton closing in on Millwall's Femi Azeez. Bids of £10m and £12m rejected but advanced talks now ongoing. Azeez has already made it clear he wants the move,” Jacobs reported.
Azeez is currently sidelined after being forced off during Millwall’s opening match against Bristol City, but he is expected to return soon.
Millwall signed the winger from Reading in 2024 for around £1 million, and he now has two years remaining on his contract.
The 25-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2025/26 Championship campaign, scoring 11 goals and providing seven assists. His performances earned him a place in the PFA Championship Team of the Year.
