Brighton are considering bringing back their former coach

After Roberto De Zerbi's move from Brighton head coach and Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna's refusal to take charge of the Seagulls, the eleventh Premier League club of last season has decided to consider an unexpected move.

As Nicolo Schira reports, the Amex are ready to bring back their former coach Graham Potter, however, he is not the only candidate being considered at Brighton. Former Nottingham Forrest head coach Steve Cooper is still on the list. He was previously linked with becoming Vincent Kompany's successor at Burnley.

Recall, Potter worked at Brighton from May 2019 to September 2022, after which he moved to Chelsea for 21.5 million pounds. After resigning from the camp of "pensioners" in April 2023, the 49-year-old specialist is out of work. He previously turned down a job at Ajax Amsterdam, while he himself has been linked with a position at Manchester United.
