Brian Cipenga has a suitor in Russia
The Congolese international’s performances at the 2026 World Cup have caught the eye of FC Krasnodar.
Brian Cipenga could leave the Spanish second division to join the top flight of Russian football. The Congolese winger, who caused a sensation in the round of 32 at the 2026 World Cup by opening the scoring for the DR Congo against England, has attracted the interest of FC Krasnodar.
The Russian professional league club is keen to secure the services of the Congolese international this summer. FC Krasnodar are reported to have made an offer of 12 million euros to Almeria. However, the Spanish club, to which Brian Cipenga is contracted until 2029, is said to have turned down the proposal.
Almeria are reportedly asking for between 15 and 20 million euros to let Brian Cipenga go.
