Brentford and Crystal Palace are facing off in the first round of the English Premier League. Both teams represent the capital of England.
In the first half, Brentford took the lead thanks to a goal from Bryan Mbeumo.
Interestingly, since the start of the 2021-2022 season, only Arsenal's star Bukayo Saka (12 goals, 14 assists) has scored more goals in London derbies in the Premier League than Mbeumo (11 goals, 6 assists).
The 25-year-old Mbeumo has been playing for the Bees since 2019 after transferring from Troyes for €6.5 million. In total, the Cameroonian winger has scored 51 goals and provided 42 assists in 201 appearances for Brentford.
