Brentford Reach Verbal Agreement to Sign Senegal International El Hadji Malick Diouf

Brentford have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with West Ham United to sign Senegal international El Hadji Malick Diouf in a deal worth up to £40 million.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that the agreement has been reached in principle, with Brentford set to pay a £35 million fixed fee plus add-ons.

“Brentford reach verbal agreement to sign El Hadji Malick Diouf from West Ham at £40m package, here we go!”

The deal is yet to be formally completed, with documents still needing to be signed before the transfer can be finalised.

Diouf is expected to become the latest player to leave West Ham following their relegation from the Premier League.

The 21-year-old Senegal international joined the Hammers from Slavia Prague last year and quickly established himself as an important member of the squad.

He made 34 appearances across all competitions last season, starting 32 of those matches and providing five assists.
