Brentford coach admits Toney's future hangs in the air

Despite a lengthy pause due to suspension over betting, Brentford forward Ivan Toney is attracting interest from big-name clubs. But those have not yet made a decision on whether they need the striker.

This has been recognised by Brentford head coach Thomas Frank, who has stressed that Toney's future hangs in the air:

‘Will he play against Liverpool? Who knows, we'll see on Sunday what happens. Ivan has been training all week. Trained with a good attitude in all aspects. He may or may not be involved.

He may or may not be here after the 30th. Basically, everything is up in the air. I've said all along that if he's here I'll be very happy and if he's not here I'll be happy on his behalf,’ Sky Sports quoted the Brentford manager as saying.

Earlier, it was reported that Saudi Arabia's Al Ahli are showing interest in Toney.
