BREAKING! Victor Osimhen has chosen his new club. He will continue his career in Asia

Victor Osimhen, the star striker of Napoli, is set to leave the club on the final day of the transfer window. However, we won't be seeing Osimhen in European football just yet.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, all parties have agreed on the Nigerian forward's transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli. Napoli will receive €80 million plus bonuses for the transfer, while Osimhen will earn €40 million per season. His contract with Al-Ahli will include a release clause, as Osimhen has expressed a desire to return to Europe in the future.

Chelsea and PSG were also considering signing Osimhen earlier.

During his four seasons at Napoli, Osimhen scored 76 goals in 133 matches across all competitions. In the 2022/23 season, in which Napoli won the Scudetto, Osimhen became the top scorer in Serie A with 26 goals.

It’s worth noting that yesterday, Napoli officially announced the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.
