BREAKING! Rafael Nadal will not play at the US Open

22-time winner of Grand Slam tournaments, Rafael Nadal will not play at the last Majors 2024, the US Open. This was announced by the Spanish tennis player on his X page.

Nadal did not reveal the reasons why he will miss the US Open. However, it appears that he will be prevented from playing by health problems.

"I'm going to miss the New York night sessions. But I don't think I'll be able to give 100 percent this time. Thank you to all my American fans," Nadal wrote in X.

Hi all, writing today to let you guys know that I have decided not to compete at this year’s US Open a place where I have amazing memories.
I will miss those electric and special night sessions in NYC at Ashe, but I don’t think I would be able to give my 100% this time.

Also, the legendary tennis player said that his next tournament will be the Lever Cup in Berlin.

It is worth recalling that 38-year-old Rafa Nadal won the US Open 4 times. However, after winning in 2019, he only once came to the tournament as a player.
