A brand new era could be dawning in Leicester.

Details: According to Sky Sports News, an unnamed Middle Eastern company is interested in buying Leicester City. The club's current owners are working with Citibank investment bankers to prepare for a possible sale. This involvement of the bank is also confirmed by the Financial Times.

The identity of the potential buyer remains undisclosed. The possible valuation of the club and the terms on which the deal might take place are also unknown.

It's worth noting that the Thai group King Power has owned Leicester since 2010. Under the current owners, the team sensationally won the Premier League in the 2015/16 season and later lifted the FA Cup for the first time in its history.

Reminder: Ipswich Town sign a Ghanaian international striker.
