Breaking! Nuwana Tushara risks missing the entire IPL 2026 season. What happened to the RCB bowler?
One of Royal Challengers Bengaluru's key players appears to be facing trouble.
Details: According to Sports Ndtv, Royal Challengers Bengaluru's pace bowler Nuwana Tushara may be left out of the squad for the season due to a lack of clearance from the Sri Lankan Cricket Association.

Reports indicate that for now, Tushara has been denied participation in the IPL season because his fitness levels do not meet SLC standards, even though the bowler is fully healthy and injury-free at the moment.
However, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have stated that SLC’s actions are unfair to their player:
“Physical fitness is extremely important in cricket, there’s no doubt about that. But you can’t ignore it for years and then suddenly implement strict standards right before the IPL. The absence of the player now seems more like poor preparation than a lack of discipline.”
At this point, it remains unclear whether Tushara will receive the much-anticipated clearance to play, which is causing serious concern among Royal Challengers Bengaluru fans and coaching staff.
Reminder: Is there cause for concern? It has been revealed whether Jasprit Bumrah will play in the 2026 IPL season after injury rumors
