Omar Abdulkadir Artan has been handed a prestigious UEFA Super Cup appointment just days after missing out on the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

UEFA has selected the Somali official to oversee the 2026 Super Cup showdown between Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa, scheduled to take place on August 12 in Salzburg.
