BREAKING! Mats Hummels announces retirement

German central defender Mats Hummels has had an outstanding and vibrant career, which unfortunately is coming to an end.

Details: Hummels himself officially announced his retirement from professional football on his social media.

Earlier, it was reported that Roma does not plan to extend the contract with the German defender. Hummels himself has already received the corresponding signals. The footballer feels comfortable in Rome, but this move has not been successful for both parties.

Hummels wants to be closer to his family, so he does not intend to extend the agreement, which expires in a few months. His goal is to return to Germany.

Reminder: On Friday, April 4, Kevin De Bruyne shocked the football world with the news of his departure from Manchester City.
