Breaking! Lionel Messi left without a head coach

Inter Miami won the MLS title last season, but the start of the current campaign has been far from convincing and has led to changes within the team.

Details: The club have officially announced that head coach Javier Mascherano has decided to leave the team along with his coaching staff.

Quote: “Javier Mascherano has decided to bring his managerial career to an end. This champion, together with his coaching staff, will always remain part of the Inter Miami family and forever be linked to our first star”, the club said in a statement.

Mascherano took charge of Inter Miami in 2024 and immediately guided the team to the MLS title. In the current campaign, the Herons have made an inconsistent start. They were eliminated from the CONCACAF Champions Cup and have collected 12 points from seven matches in MLS.

Reminder: Inter Miami are actively pursuing the signing of Manchester United midfielder Casemiro and have already submitted a concrete offer for the Brazilian star.
