Chelsea had been under investigation for a period over breaches of financial reporting regulations, and a verdict has now been delivered in the case.
Details: As reported by Matt Law, Chelsea have not been hit with a points deduction or other sporting sanctions. However, the London club have received a ban on signing new players for their academy.
In addition, as Ben Jacobs reported, Chelsea will pay a fine of £10.75 million. The club have also been handed a one-year transfer ban affecting the first team, although the ban will only come into effect in two years.
