Everything now hinges on the CAS verdict.
Details: According to Vince, citing BBC Sport, London club Chelsea has every reason to terminate the contract with Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk once the proceedings before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) conclude.

Reports indicate that the heart of the matter is Mudryk's anti-doping suspension, which constitutes a breach of his employment contract. If Mykhailo is found guilty, Chelsea will have no trouble terminating the deal, thereby easing their financial burden.
On the flip side, Chelsea would retain the right to sell Mudryk for a transfer fee, provided they keep him under contract and continue to pay his wages.
For now, there is no official CAS decision on Mudryk's case.
