Bayern Munich has officially announced the successful transfer of Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise.
The 22-year-old footballer has signed a five-year contract with the Munich club, lasting until June 2029.
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the transfer cost Bayern £45 million plus £5 million in bonuses.
"The negotiations with Bayern have been very positive. I am very happy that I will now play for such a big club. It's a great challenge, exactly what I was looking for. I want to prove myself at this level and win titles," commented Olise on the transfer.
The Munich club won the race for the France youth international winger against Manchester United, Chelsea, and Newcastle.
Despite missing much of last season due to injury, Olise scored 10 goals and provided 6 assists in 19 matches for Crystal Palace.
