Breaking! Barcelona submit offer for Álvarez transfer

FC Barcelona continue their search for reinforcements and are now prepared to battle for Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez.

Details: According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Barcelona have already submitted an offer worth €100 million to Atlético Madrid for the Argentine forward.

However, Los Colchoneros are demanding a fee higher than the €120 million Barcelona paid for Antoine Griezmann. Álvarez has reportedly made it clear that he wants to leave the club.

We previously reported that Paris Saint-Germain FC submitted an offer to Atlético Madrid worth €120 million plus two players in exchange for Julián Álvarez.

Julián Álvarez joined Atlético Madrid from Manchester City in 2024 for €75 million. The Argentine’s contract with Los Colchoneros runs until June 30, 2030.
